Volunteers, Members, and Donors

You can help preserve local history

How you can help:

There are many ways you can help us preserve your history.  You can visit, send or bring your friends and family down to visit, attend events, make a purchase in the gift shop, buy a membership or purchase a memorial stone - all those revenues help support our work.  If you want to make a larger contribution here are some suggestions:

Donate your time!

Volunteers are always welcome and there's always something that needs to be done.  Check out our volunteer page for the latest projects.

Donate money! Donate
            Now Through CanadaHelps.org!

Your financial support is always greatly appreciated.  You can contribute to our general operations and leave it up to us how to use your contribution or you can specify what you'd like us to do with it.  There's a whole bunch of things we're either working on or planning at any given time, so please give us a call to discuss your wishes.

If you are looking for a really special way to memorialise somebody or commemorate an event, you may want to consider the Own-A-Stone program at the Creston Museum.  For $100, we will put a plaque with the inscription of your choice on one of the stones used in the Museum building's construction.  You have your choice of stone, and your donation is fully tax-deductible.

Donate objects!

We do local Creston Valley history. If you have artifacts, photographs, documents, maps, or other objects that reflect the history of the Creston Valley, we'd like to hear about it - especially if it's unique or really special!

We don't have a cut-off date - it doesn't have to be a minimum age to be of interest.  It does need to have current historical value to the Creston Valley however, no matter how old or recent it is.
